It's been a while since I've updated my journal. I'm not as up on the documentation process as I should be. Anywho, I am still teaching and freelancing, but my primary preoccupation these days is grad school. I am going to FIEA at UCF. http://www.fiea.ucf.edu/shield/showpage.php?page_id=1. On top of trying to create some killer art I am also endeavoring to learn a little scripting, 3d math, and such so I can create my own tools and write some shaders.  Basically, life is good.

Ok, I have finally got my website up (www.brianmaricle.net.) I wanted to have a flash version, but maybe one day. You wouldn't believe the trouble I went through to finish this thing. I have added a couple new images from it. This should start a new chapter in my life including hopefully getting me into the game industry full time instead of just part time, but we will see. I've had some nibbles, but no offers yet --well, no paying offers anyways. Lemme know whatcha think.

Okay, I am almost done *glee!* I am nearly complete with my website (www.brianmaricle.net) Just a couple key pieces to add over the course of the next week. I and am planning on going to Austin and Dallas, for a couple weeks then to Raleigh, NC to see if I can't drum up a little business and such --who knows, maybe even find a whole new job. This is a pretty big deal for me, actually. I missed the Siggraph convention because I wasn't quite ready, but I think I am gonna be up for this one.
